UCP Marjon Sport as part of the STARS programme will be running swimming lessons for all ages and abilities from September 2010.  

Aqua babies and Pre school
Aqua Babies sessions and Preschool lessons (for children aged 3 – 4years) will now be run at the same time as our children's lessons on Saturdays.

Childrens lessons
Swimming lessons for children of school age will be running on Fridays from 16.00 – 19.00 and Saturdays from 9.15 – 12.15.  Enrollment for new swimmers for the Summer 2012 term (April - July) will take place from Monday 26th March - April 1st. All NEW swimmers for children's lessons will require a brief swim assessment before they can enroll. Please contact Libby Carne ecarne@marjon.ac.uk to arrange a swim assessment.

Enrollment for existing UCP Marjon Sport swimmers for the Summer 2012 term is from 16th - 25th March.

We cannot accept any new swimmers once a term has started. If you would like to be added to the next terms waiting list please contact ecarne@marjon.ac.uk

Adult lessons
Adult group swimming lessons will be on Fridays between 7pm – 8pm.  All lessons are half an hour in length and run term time only.

One to one lessons
One to one lessons are available for both adults and children during our public swim times. Lesson times will only be confirmed when a teacher has been found to teach.

School lessons
By Key Stage 2 it is recommended that children should be able to swim at least 25metres of a recognised stroke, along with a variety of life saving and water confidence skills by the time that they leave primary education. UCP Marjon Sport can offer a specialised package for local schools which can be tailored to the individual needs of each school.  This includes pool hire with lifeguards, highly qualified swimming teachers, and use of all our pool safety and teaching equipment. Private hire is also available for schools with their own qualified teaching staff and equipment.
