Main Library
The collection of books is housed on three floors with a smaller collection of short loan books situated behind the enquiry desk. All items appear on the computer catalogue and these Online Public-Access Catalogues (OPACs) are located throughout the Library.
The catalogues can be searched by title, author, subject, keyword, class number, accession number and series. Instructions as to usage appear on the screen.
The Library is arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (except the Ray Williams Language Collection) and access to the stock held by the Library is through the computer catalogue. The Language Collection materials are arranged by the Language Teaching Classification scheme which uses letters rather than numbers to identify the subject.
