Course Description
CLAIT Plus is suitable for learners who are confident in the use of the software and enjoy a challenge, or anyone wanting to specialise in a particular area to satisfy the needs of the workplace or personal use. Marjon Open Learning Unit offers the following units:

Core Unit (Mandatory):

• Unit 1. Integrated E-Document Production (Using Word 2003 and Windows)

Additional Units:

• Unit 2. Manipulating Spreadsheets & Graphs (Using Excel 2003)
• Unit 3. Creating and Using a Database (Using Access 2003)
• Unit 4. E-Publication Design (Using Publisher 2003)
• Unit 5. Designing an E-Presentation (Using PowerPoint 2003)
• Unit 6. E-Image Manipulation (Using PaintShop Pro 7)
• Unit 8. Electronic Communication (Internet and Email)

Certification
Certification is available for single units. Each unit is regarded as a worthwhile achievement in its own right. Candidates have the option of achieving as many or as few units as are appropriate for their own learning needs or employment situation.

• In order to achieve a Certificate candidates are required to achieve the core unit plus two additional optional units.
• In order to achieve a Diploma candidates are required to achieve the core unit plus four additional optional units.
