News from Sabah in Malaysia

I'm now officially posted to a Chinese school in Keningau, Sabah. It's a small town two hours away from Kota Kinabalu, the main city in Sabah.Though it is only 2 hours away but the journey is quite scary-winding and going up and down the Crocker Mountain Range. Water and electricity both are well-supplied. Also, with quite a good reception for the mobile connection.

The school has about 1500 pupils and 70++ teachers. I'm teaching 4 classes of English and 1 class of Science plus some other minor subjects.

Life over here is very simple. Fruits and vegetables are so cheap. The cost of living is quite low so hopefully I can save up some cash while I'm there. I have internet connection in school but it's rather slow.

This week is the Chinese New Year, so I'm back at home for a week. Will be heading back to work soon...
With love,
Wan Lynn
