BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy

We look forward to welcoming you to UCP Marjon for your selection day.

The day is designed to compliment your UCAS application, therefore, you will be required to complete a 30 minute reflective writing task and a group activity.

During the selection day you will be able to tour the campus with a student, and participate in a mock teaching session.

Areas focused upon in interview

In order to compliment your online UCAS application we are hoping you will demonstrate:

• Excellent oral communication skills
• Self reflection and analytical skills
• The ability to deliver a plan of action, think strategically and make decisions
• The ability to maintain relationships and make a personal impact
• Good written communication skills
• Experience of working with individuals with communication and/or swallowing difficulties
• A commitment to the Speech and Language therapy profession.

We also hope it will give you the opportunity to decide whether UCP Marjon is the right university for you, by taking part in a campus tour with current students, meeting members of the speech and language therapy lecturing team and other UCP Marjon staff, viewing the department and participating in a mock lecture.
