The programme will also enable young and aspiring coaches to develop their skills alongside a high level coaches.

Jamie Oxley, Sport Development Manager for the RELAYS project at UCP Marjon is committed to supporting young coaches gain the experience and mentoring to develop and says “the new primary schools coaching programme based at UCP Marjon provide young coaches with a great opportunity to work alongside experienced coaches to see how they develop players skills and motivate young performers. Coaching is an art and most coaches learn more through practical experience and observation and not through attending courses”.
