We are delighted to say that we raised nearly £900 on Friday – activities included the football team all being waxed. Donations started at £5 for an eyebrow and increased to £20 for a whole armpit!!  Some brave souls had their bottoms done and back of the legs!!  The boys raised a very respectful £70 although they looked a little sore in places!!

Our team of library staff dressed in red and sold  cakes throughout the day and raised over £200!

Our traffic wardens also took part with John Skeldon playing guitar and serenading all the vehicles coming into UCP Marjon throughout the day and raised a whopping £225!!

Other students washed cars and another two took the decision to only eat red food all day raising more than £200.

Staff also raised over £300 wearing red, buying cakes and entering a raffle for a huge red nose cake made by the catering department.

Debbie McAllister said

“ As always we are astonished at the effort and willingness of both staff and students to get involved in raising money for Red Nose Day. A big thank you to all involved for your hard work!”
