Victoria Francis-Lang was lucky enough to scoop a signed surfboard this week from past student and world renowned big wave surfer Dan “the mole” Joel, in a competition at the UCP Marjon Open Day.

Aged 26, Victoria is currently in full time employment but looking to change her career. She attended the open day at the University College following her sisters recommendation and hopes to study for the BSc (Hons) Health, Exercise and Physical Activity BSc.

Victoria was delighted to win the surfboard and said:

“I never win anything. I came to get some advice regarding the course I was interested in and also ended up with this. I will definitely try surfing now I have this fantastic board".

The next open day at UCP Marjon is on August 16th.
